How to remove existing wireless network profile on Mac OSX

  1. Click on the wifi icon on the top menu bar, and then select Open Network Preferences.

  2. When the Network Preferences screen appears, please select MichiganTech wifi network, and then click Advanced.

  3. Under the Wifi tab, select the network which you want to remove and click on the minus button “-”. Then click OK.

  4. Back in the Network settings - select the network you want to reconnect by double clicking the network.

  5. The Authentication pop-up will appear and requests your WPA2 enterprise credentials. Please type in your Michigan Tech username and Michigan Tech ISO Password and click OK.
  6. If you see the pop-up window - Authenticating to network, then click Continue. If you don’t see this pop-up, continue to next step.

  7. If you see the pop-up window – "You are making changes…", then type your MAC laptop username and password and click on Update Settings. If you don’t see this pop-up, continue to the next step.

  8. You should now see MichiganTech connected in your network preferences.
