How do I request a video conference?

Information Technology offers videoconferencing and audio conferencing technology to the campus community, including GoToMeeting and facilities in conference rooms throughout the Michigan Tech campus. We offer training and support in the usage of the campus conference rooms, their computer systems and A/V resources.

Video Conferencing

Michigan Tech employs GoToMeeting as its main videoconferencing application, which combines audio, video, chat and collaboration features in an intuitive and easy-to-use platform. GoToMeeting creates your own personal conference room with a unique code you can send to your attendees to view your screen, webcam and audio, and allowing them to do the same in real time. Audio and screen sharing can be recorded to be viewed later on your computer. GoToMeeting is easy to implement, requiring only a Citrix account and an internet connection.

For more information or to get started with GoToMeeting at Michigan Tech, please contact it-help@mtu.edu or (906) 487-1111.
