How to enable Google Cloud Printing?

Direct Link to Article:

You can now utilize Google Cloud Printing from your Android or iOS Device.

To use Google Cloud Print you need three primary things:

1.) A Google account (You will need to ensure you are signed into your "@mtu.edu" email account on the device you're trying to print from.)

2.) A computer or device capable of running Google Chrome.

3.) Access to printers capable of printing to Cloud Print.  Michigan Tech IT has shared out the Husky BW and Color printers to students, staff and faculty by default, so they should already be accessible.

Android Devices:

In general if you are on an Android device and are signed into your MTU account, Google Print should simply work and you should have the Husky BW and Color printers made available for you.  If you try printing on your device and you're signed into your account, you should see the printers as accessible.

iOS Devices:

If you have an iOS device, you can print from any Google app provided you are logged into your account.  If you are trying to print on an iOS device outside of a Google App, you will need to install a compatible app that works with Google Cloud Print.

Please note that some 3rd party apps for the iOS may have a cost associated with the installation.
